Go England!

Although they haven't performed as expected we still have our hopes up for a better match on Wednesday!

Benjamin, Me and Harry

Benjamin and Harry enjoying my fun chair (look at me standing unaided!);

Cuddling the cousins:

Some pics from Nana's birthday lunch at our house;

and from Michele and Howards wedding (me looking very tired, mind you it was the day after I had been to hospital so I only stayed for the ceremony);

Ice-cream

Nana and Granddad came over to see Harry and I the other day and we went to Battersea park for a walk and to enjoy the swings. I also got to try Ice-cream for the first time (mamma and daddy have been depriving me of this so far...WHY?!). Here are some pics from our lovely outing:

watch out Jenson and Lewis, daddy is back on the track!

You might remember I mentioned a week or so before daddy's birthday that I had a great surprise in store for him? Oboy was he happy with his birthday present....! A day at palmer sports race track. Mamma and I didn't go with him as it was a bit of a drive to get there so we chilled at home whilst he wizzed around the tracks in all sort of fast cars. He loved it and was like a little schoolboy mamma said when he got home late that evening. Here he is!

hmmm...

My godmummy Sara had her birthday a few days ago - HAPPY BIRTHDAY! She lives in Sweden so I didn't get to say happy birthday to her in person unfortunately. But she is visiting me in a couple of weeks so I will give her a birthday cuddle then!

The other day I had to go to hospital because I was running a very high temperature. The Doctor was really lovely and I had a good snuggle and sleep with mamma in hospital after an exhausting seizure, unfortunately running a high temperature can sometimes lead to a 'febrile convulsion' and that is exactly what happened to me. Mamma had to call an ambulance and off we went to the A&E where the nurses and doctors looked after me until I was allowed to go home a few hours later. I am now recovering well with the penicillin having kicked in and regular doses of paracetamol and ibuprofen. My throat is really sore and I am tired but taking this into consideration I still enjoy playing with my ball a lot and keep very active in general.

My hospital visit meant that I couldn't stay for long at Michele and Howards wedding yesterday, but I behaved beautifully throughout the ceremony and really enjoyed catching up with my cousins; Harry, Benjamin, Alicia, Oliva and Theo. Auntie Michele looked beautiful and I think she had a wonderful day! Saskia and I wore matching dresses and I will upload some more photos here soon from the wedding (courtesy of Nana!).

Happy birthday Nana! Today it is Nanas birthday and she brought Grandad, Auntie Carrie and cousin Benjamin, as well as Harry, Auntie Vicky and Sam to my house for lunch. They first went to see cousin Harry's new house, he is soon moving into a new house very near me (the one he lives in now is quite close but the new one is even closer!)! How cool is that?! We had a great time playing and eating (black marinated kalamata olives are still my favourites so lucky for me Mamma had bought some this morning). I had so much fun and I am so happy they all came to see me today. I got two lovely new sunhats (you would think it was my birthday!) and a beautiful special dress that my aunties wore when they were babies (from Harrods nontheless!) and some swimming bottoms and a lovely sun t-shirt! (OMG I am so spoilt!) thank you Nana and Auntie Carrie!

In the evening Mamma, Daddy and I went over to my friend James's house to say hello, as I am unwell we decided against watching the first England game (against USA) at their house which we had initially planned a few days ago, and James and I managed to get some quality play time together in his garden (I love his cool trucks!) before we went home for my bath and bedtime.

Although I am a very devoted England fan (quite obvious as I hold a British passport, live in and love London.... and Sweden didn't qualify for this world cup) I wasn't allowed to stay up to watch the game, but from what I hear (Daddy in tears...) I am sure we have a few very exciting weeks to come. COME ON ENGLAND!

from the wedding yesterday:

I think I underestimated these sticky hair 'brushes' mamma swears by, but no sign of Cody or Pimms hair on my new England T-Shirt - brilliant:

Happy Sweden day!

Today is 'Svenska Flaggans Dag' (Sweden's national day) - happy Sweden day to you all!

I had Mamma at home with me all day on Friday which was lovely. We went to see my friend James in the afternoon so we could congratulate Danielle in advance and give her her present (Happy birthday!) as she is away today on her birthday.

Yesterday after a lovely walk in the common with Yma, mamma and the dogs I chilled with both mamma and Daddy in the afternoon. In the evening mamma and daddy had a party to go to. My friend Astrid's dad Neil was 40! Happy birthday to you too! I was asleep whilst they were out and Yma and Chris looked after me (Thanks!). Before I went to bed I got to play with Yma's mum and dad from Australia as well as Chris - fun! I decided to give mamma and daddy a nice lie in so I didn't get up until after 8 this morning - easy Sunday morning indeed! In the afternoon we went to see my friend Henry and his puppy Bandit (Bandit has grown tonnes in just a week, I saw him last week at my bbq for the first time). We had tonnes of fun in the lovely weather in the garden and I especially enjoyed the slide Henry has in his garden - daddy had to put me on it all the time! Daddy and Henry's dad Ifor went of gocart racing - good luck daddy! As you can imagine I was very tired this evening so feel asleep exhausted.

I have had a lovely weekend with family and friends - aren't I lucky!?

Tomorrow is Monday and I am going to Harry's house to play! Yay!

In the common yesterday - a very hot day! (30 C), (my serious look);

Mamma takes away dummies day time as I should only have them whilst sleeping really, so I have to resort to ducky;

first week back at work

For mamma that is not me! Mamma and daddy have made such a big fuss about me not spending my days with mamma this week. Little do they know I have hardly missed them at all, I have been far too busy enjoying myself with Cousin Harry and Auntie Vicky! It has been brilliant and I have done my best to behave to ensure they like having me around, and I think I succeeded! We have been doing all sort of things like walking in the park and going to the playground where Harry and I have tried out the swings. Also had my first ride in a London cab as well as going to the one o’clock club where they have a ‘sensory room’ (funny lights and generally interesting things to explore!). Below are a few pics from my lovely week. Tomorrow mamma is at home as she is only working three days a week at the moment. The weather is supposed to be amazing tomorrow so I better get my sunscreen lotion and sunhat out! Can’t wait to jump in the pool! Ciao for now amigos! Big kiss to Harry and thank you Auntie Vicky for looking after me!

Enjoying lunch together:

Testing the swings in battersea park:

On the go...in a London cab, hectic lives means having a snack (rice cakes) when you can:

LOVING the Strawberry season (if you know of any local strawberry farmers supplying them wintertime let me know. Mamma says you can only have these yummy, red, sweet little things in the summer and she refuse to give them to me wintertime when they only come from Egypt, but surely Egypt is only south of Croydon?)
