Eyjafjallajökull
So much has happened since I last updated my blog. I will start where I left it...Mamma and I spent about ten days at mormors house where I had loads of fun exploring and playing. Mormor taught me where the lamp is so now I point at it whenever someone needs to find it! Clever me! Mormor gave me a lovely new cuddle bear a 'Rock Star baby' nontheless - very cool and very soft! I will take a pic and upload when I can. Because of the Volcanic ash cloud our flight to Visby was cancelled and we ended up on a travel adventure for nearly 12 hours – exciting! We started in Lund the city near Mormor where we took the train for about two hours to Nassjo, then we took another train to Hultsfred (passing Lönneberga where Emil lives!), this train journey was very relaxing for both mamma and I as I decided to catch up on some much needed sleep in my pram. In Hultsfred we went on a bus for an hour to Oskarshamn where we took the boat to Visby. I like the boat because there is a fun kids room and kids cinema where I played with other children and lots of spaces to crawl around on (train and bus not so much space) I slept for a bit in my pram before we arrived in Visby and Cajsa’s house. Morfars mamma (my ‘great farmor’) has recently been in hospital so we spent some time with her at her house helping out (me arranging her kitchen cupboards and mamma cleaning) and cuddling of course, although she wouldn’t let mamma cook for her (wise choice!) I am so happy as she is feeling much better now. It is her birthday today! (6th May) happy birthday Farmor!
At Cajsa’s house there is a lot of floorspace and lots of kitchen cupboards to explore and re-arrange too! I was eating very well and always enjoy the vanilla yogurt and raspberry puree Cajsa give me. My other favourite is cheese and usually the stronger the better! I would say I behaved immaculate and slept well (not the first night but there was so much to explore) and Cajsa have taught me how to play the piano . Even if I am very good at playing the piano I am much better at playing the drum! I would say maracas and drums are my choice of instrument! I might be a musician just like morfar when I grow up, who knows!
On daddy’s birthday (Saturday 24th April) we started our journey back to London with a short flight to Stockholm and Bromma airport in the morning (mamma call these airplanes tumble dryers because they are very noisy, small and shaky...), after a bus and train journey (I slept again!) we arrived at the international airport of Stockholm where we took a flight to Oslo, Norway. I prefer shorter flights so it was lucky we had to change in Oslo rather than taking a direct flight to London. In Oslo we had to run (mamma running carrying me as I don’t run yet!) for our next and final flight to Heathrow and Daddy!!! Yay was I happy to see him!?! My face lit up and I it was so nice to have a cuddle with daddy, since arriving back I have been keeping a close eye on him to ensure he isn’t too far away! It was especially nice to be able to arrive back on his birthday. When we got home I said hello to Pimms and Cody before we went to Brinkleys for daddy’s birthday dinner and then straight to bed!
Thank you so much my lovely family in Sweden for always making me feel so welcome and at home! I miss you all and look forward to seeing you all soon!
Must dash but promise I will write further update to get up to date very soon!
