what a week!

Hello my friends! what a week it has been! Mormor's been here and I have done my best to exhaust her and think I did a pretty good job as I am getting very busy nowadays! Mormor is so much fun, she always plays with me loads. I am 'shuffling' (type of crawling) very quickly now! So mamma and mormor have been busy keeping an eye on me. On Tuesday mormor came with us to Gymboree and it was fun showing her my Gymboree class and I think she enjoyed it! I am really missing mormor since she left but we are visiting her soon in Sweden and I am very much looking forward to that!

This morning mamma and I went to see Auntie Vicky and cousin Harry, Kirsty and my friend Henry were there too. As usual we had lots of fun playing on Harry's playmat whilst mamma was chatting away with Kirsty and Vicky and having lunch. Then we took Pimms and Cody to the common for a nice long walk, it was very windy but dry (unusual but very nice!).

I am eating lots more now and have porridge for breakfast then some lunch pure (chicken or beef with veggies) and finally some dinner around 5.30 (similar to lunch) followed by yogurt - yum!

here is me 'shuffling'

Clara nearly 30...

Yesterday was my auntie Clara's birthday - Happy Birthday Clara! hope you had a good day! Mamma and I tried to call but no answer she was probably out celebrating.

Clara is responsible for the design of the blog and she has taken so many great photos of me with her flashy SLR camera. I hope to see her very soon again!

This is me and Clara when she visited us last time:

Another big thing happened yesterday - Mormor came! yay! Today I am going to play with Mormor as much as I can!

I am back...bouncing!

Feeling sooooo much better today! The bugs found someone else to bother...daddy! Poor him, he came home early from work with a temperature and stomach bug. Which unfortunately means mamma now suspect the Noro virus which in turn means we will have to live isolated for another few days...no meeting up with my NCT mates tomorrow, I wouldn't want them to catch these bugs I have had.

Went to sleep at normal time (around 7pm) but realised I wanted to spend some time with mamma and daddy AND I have slept a lot when I was ill and therefore have a lot of playtime to make up, so I screamed myself into a right state until mamma brought me downstairs, and here I am bouncing away in my jumperoo. Daddy bought me some fish the other day, I love watching the fish tank and got bored of 'Stinky Steve' (he is the big 'sucky' fish you can see in the left hand corner - he is a monster!) so now I have about five other smaller fish that I really enjoy watching!

finally on the mend

I am finally starting to feel like my old self again! Eating often and small amounts, enjoying being up more and playing with my toys. These bugs were really not very nice, I hope they will stay away now. Daddy isn't feeling well today and was up all night, not the man flu this time but maybe the bugs I had. I think Cody might have caught the bugs of me as he wasn't well on Sunday, but he is much better now. I haven't been out with Pimms and Cody for nearly a week now as I have been unwell and I am really looking forward to tomorrow (if I am fully recovered) when I will see my NCT mates and then go for a nice long walk with Pimms and Cody. I will miss my Gymboree today as mamma wants me to stay in for another day. But maybe I can do a make up class on Thursday or Friday - I hope so!

see you later my amigos!

Valentines

Daddy is so sweet! today is Valentines day and he gave mamma and I some lovely flowers and a very sweet card, nice and sparkly which I played with for a bit before I had some milk and my afternoon nap. I wasn't feeling too well again last night and stayed up for a couple of hours in the night (daddy and I snuggled on the sofa infront of In the Night Garden), and this morning I was vomitting again. But I have managed to keep my lunch milk down for now. Fingers and toes crossed I am not making a turn for the worse again and that I will feel better tomorrow.

Mamma was in a right state earlier, daddy was laughing at her as she was getting worked up over the BBC2 coverage of the Vancouver 2010 winter olympics. They don't seem to show any of the sports she wants to see and she can't find any channel that does. We are waiting for the ice hockey and the alpine skiing and look forward to cheer both Sweden and Britain on!

Tommy didn't win the UK 'So you think you can dance', Charlie did! He was runner up though and mamma thinks Charlie was actually very good last night, although Tommy is the better dancer and have been more consistent througout the competition. Congratulations to Charlie who was crowned Britains favourite dancer.

laters alligators!

another special day

Happy birthday Grandad! from all of us here in Earlsfield, Pimms, Cody, daddy and mamma sends their love! big birthday smacker from little me!

Today it is my daddys dad birthday, he lives in Spain with Nana. We hope he gets a wonderful day in the sunshine with cake and presents!

Saturday

I am feeling a lot better today. Although not fully recovered yet, I am slowly but surely building my strength and eating small amounts (which stays down!) more often. I also still haven't had a temperature now for about 48 hours.

Mamma took her bi-folding doors obsession to a new level today....She dragged daddy, Pimms and Cody out of the house at ten o’clock this morning. They took Marge all the way to Milton Keynes (a town containing almost only roundabouts apparently) where they visited a showroom for about 30 minutes before they went all the way home again. They were out for about six hours. Poor daddy, Pimms and Cody. Marge probably enjoyed it having a go on the motorway instead of London stop-start driving! And mamma was just so excited about the doors she could have gone to France (mind you that would probably have been quicker...).  These doors better turn out to be amazing...! Whilst they were out on their three-different-motorways-adventure I realise I was very lucky to have escaped this adventure and had tonnes of fun with godmummy Yma and Chris! I was a bit scratchy and tired but did my best to ensure they enjoyed my company so that they will babysit me again soon. It was nice to have them here and I hope I see them soon again! Thanks for looking after me!

Think I might stay up for a bit this evening to ensure I get to see daddy as much as possible this weekend, haven’t decided if I have the energy or not yet. Will let you know how it goes. Tonight is the final of UK ‘So you think you can dance’, mamma hopes that Tommy (Swedish guy) will win - Go Tommy!

special day

today is Mormor's birthday! HAPPY BIRTHDAY Mommo!

more good news, Mommo is coming to London to visit us on Thursday - yay!

big birthday kiss from me to Mommo:

Ps. mamma, daddy, Pimms & Cody says hello and happy birthday too!

a little better

Today I felt a bit better, I haven't had temperature all day but whenever I eat it comes up again, I only managed to get some water in me and mamma seems happy as long as I am hydrated. It is really boring being ill as I don't have much energy to play and have fun. I have stayed in all day again today and been sleeping a lot. Well, mamma and daddy thinks I am on the mend as temperature is gone and I really hope they are right because these bugs are not making me happy! Daddy and I watched In the Night Garden, he doesn't seem to understand it, but I do, it makes perfect sense and it is a lot of fun! The Pinky Ponk can be so hypnotising...

Fingers and toes crossed that I feel better tomorrow!

xoxo

tummy bug...

The doctor says I've got a tummy bug...I disagree! I have tummy bugsssss...I promise you, there are many of them not only one. One I could probably handle, but there are several of the little buggers causing me no end of misery! I can't eat anything as it comes straight up again. I've also got a temperature. Mamma and I went back to the doctor today but there isn't much he can do about the bugs unfortunately, until they decide to cause pain somewhere else I will have to continue being a brave girl and drink when I can and continue to take medicin. Today we chilled at home and I got to watch 'In the Night Garden' (my favourite tv program) whilst eating - result! although the food came straight up again it was nice of mamma to let me have a tv dinner! Also, mamma sleeps in my room whilst I am unwell, and it's quite nice to have her nearby. Daddy is miserable on his own in their bed but I gave him my Little Miss Sunshine pillow to cuddle so he doesn't miss us too much.

I will give you bug update tomorrow when I am hopefully feeling a bit better!

xoxo

happy seven months to me!

It is a special day today, I am seven months old!

Also, today is Gymboree day! I can't wait!

Yesterday daddy had his first day back at work again after two days at home with me. I try to wake him at 7ish then mamma and I go to make him a a cup of tea. I then like to play on my playmat or in my jumperoo for a bit before my breakfast followed by a morning nap at 10. Mamma and I took Pimms and Cody to a snowy common yesterday, no sign of any squirrels, they were probably too cold! In the afternoon we went to my friend Lukas's house, there I met with two other half-Swedish friends Amelie, three months, and Nils, six months old. Now I have three half-Swedish friends in total who all live nearby.

bye for now amigos!

Me at 7 months! Strike a pose!!!!

Still here

But I have been so bad at updating my blog, really sorry for this my comrades! I realise it is about a week ago but time flies when you are having fun! Basically mamma is obsessed with bi-folding doors and wood flooring and won't let me near the computer....The rumour is that we (or a builder to be exact) are to do a kitchen extension. This is both good and bad news. Good news is that I get to visit Sweden with mamma, bad news is that daddy will have to live in a building site for quite some time and I won't see him for a few weeks. Cody and Pimms will probably end up having a nice holiday with Jessie. The very good part is that when it's all done I will have so much space to crawl around on. No hold your horses - I am not crawling just yet but there is a bit of progress and I train a lot so I don't think it is long now.

My first cold arrived this week, I got a very snotty nose....no temperature but I have been a bit tired and under the weather so we have been taking it very easy this week. Mamma and daddy insist on wiping my nose every second and I find it extremely annoying! I also think mamma suffers more from my cold than I do because he makes such a fuss of me (mind you, it's nice when she spoils me!). Of course we have had our daily walks with Pimms and Cody in the common (except for today as daddy went on his own with them). I am starting to enjoy my food a bit more and I went to Gymboree on Tuesday which was fun! I also went to see cousin Harry on Friday and played with his toys - gosh he grows so quickly and he eats baby rice (yuk!). Oh, I also went to see my friend James, he is a bit shy when we meet but he lets me play with his toys which are really cool, and he has now called my mammas iPhone twice using his mum Danielle's iPhone so mamma thinks he is after a date...!? (mind you, my favourite toy is the iPhone too!)

The weekend was really nice as daddy was at home with me for two whole days again. We usually have our special time in the morning as he lets mamma has a sleep-in (isn't he sweet?!). The weekend is the best part of the week I think, we went out for lunch yesterday and I ate all of my Ella's kitchen pure (I can be so good when I have an audience!), my favourite is the 'Butternut squash, apple, carrot and prune' (love love love the combo! I can highly recommend it!).

I promise to update my blog a bit more going forward.

Here is me in my bath earlier this evening, I love the seat Henry lent me, it's brilliant! thanks Henry!!

weekend

Had a fab weekend again! It is so nice to have daddy at home with me for two whole days. Yesterday we chilled and trained on crawling a bit (daddy and I - although daddy can crawl already I enjoy watching him pull funny faces whilst he encourage me!) then we all took the dogs to the common for a nice walk. On our way home we stopped for lunch and I sat in a highchair eating my food whilst mamma and daddy had to order of a menu. They seemed to enjoy their food too. I got a new pram which is really neat, same pram as my cousin Harry got (Maclaren). It super handy for mamma to have in the shops and its not as muddy and large as mini-marge and it travels much easiler too so we can easily bring it to Sweden or Spain when we go next. I have been sleeping ok but wake up hungry about 5ish so have to have a snack before I nod off again. Mamma and daddy thinks I am a big girl now so I sleep in my cot until I wake up around 7 and I don't mind, but yesterday and today we had a sleep-in so I only woke up closer to nine! well it is the weekend after all!

Eating gets me very messy so I have a noticed a slight change in my 'routine', I will most probably have a bath every night now and go to bed slightly earlier than 7.30-8. Then I will have valling (swedish goodnight drink containing oat) when I am clean and snug before nodding off. I like this routine very much but daddy says I will probably see a bit less of him unfortunately as he isn't home from work until quite late, but I might just have to get up earlier to see him in the morning before his work.

Mamma isn't feeling too well, she got a nasty cold (get better quick mamma!). This is not too bad for me at all as it means I get to spend more time with daddy whilst mamma rests! We had tonnes of fun today, I am nearly crawling now!

xoxo

not too bad

I had to break to mamma gently - but it's simply the standard of her cooking so far....(daddy still does most of the cooking for them too). Today I really enjoyed banana and peach for breakfast and then some Butternut squash, carrot, apple & prune (yes, might sound like a strange combo but it really is very yummy!) for both lunch and dinner! Maybe soon I let mamma try some cooking for me too but until then I just enjoy trying out some of Ella's Kitchen or Plum organics.

messy!

Here is me eating the other day:

midweek

Ciao! had a good nights sleep last night and started the day with a catch up with all my nct mates. Whilst mummys were nattering away and drinking coffee we all had fun on Williams playmat and drooled all over his very cool toys. Lots of my friends are now sitting up all by themselves! William is crawling backwards! After all the fun I got very tired and fell asleep in the car on our way home.

After  nice long walk with the dogs we went to see mammas friend (Swedish) Malin. At her house I had fun playing away with some of my toys and some of Malins cool wooden kitchen utencils. After having my bottle of milk we went home just in time to meet daddy arriving back from work.

I decided against going to sleep early tonight, also my teeth are really annoying me! Mamma and daddy are so soft so after a bit of a power struggle I won (of course) I sat in my bumbo seat reading my monkey book and chewing on my new toy from Gymboree whilst mamma and daddy had dinner and watched tv.

Had some sad news today, Nana was going to visit from Spain but she is ill so she had to cancel her trip here. I hope she will recover super soon! Get better Nana!

me reading my monkey book earlier this evening:

Hectic start to the week

Yesterday we went off to see my friend Henry for lunch, we picked up auntie Vicky and my cousin Harry on our way. Mamma, Vicky and Kirsty had a lovely lunch and Henry, I and Harry had lots of fun as usual! Henry is eight months and eats proper food so I seized the moment (and the audience!) and had some raspberry and pear pure - yummy! Thanks Kirsty! I think I am getting the hang of this eating and have decided to give mamma another chance - we’ll see how it goes! After lunch mamma and I took the dogs to the common so they could do some squirrel hunting (didn’t catch any obviously!). Then we chilled in the afternoon until daddy got home and I cuddled with him.

Today was Gymboree day! Took the dogs for a nice long walk so I could have a good nap before the Gymboree! Started smiling and showing my delight straight away, the other babies are a bit older than me except for my half-Swedish friend Lucas who is nine days younger but he is already crawling about! I am just about sitting up, still a bit top heavy but I don’t think it’s long now until I sit all by myself. The lovely lady who holds our class sings and let us bang the drum which I liked (the maracas are very noisy so they made me cry today but it was the end of the class so I was tired also!). Then we have a good play around the ‘gym’ and sang some more before the clown Gymboree sang goodbye to us - I love Gymboree the clown - he really makes me laugh! I can’t wait for next weeks class!

When we got home it wasn’t long before daddy came home from work, but before that I managed to watch some ‘In the Night garden’ whilst mamma gave me a manicure! (she prefers to file my nails nowadays as I won’t keep my hands still). Then I tried a new bath seat which we have borrowed from Henry, it’s great as I can sit up properly and have a good play with my toys (love the bath toys I was given from nana and granddad for Christmas).

Love to you all my blog readers!

xoxo

Shopping

Sunday - sweet! Sara is still here (although she left later Sunday evening…buhu!). Mamma, Sara and I took Marge to Westfield shopping centre (biggest in Europe) where we had lots of fun. I had a good snooze in the car there so was very happy when we arrived! Before we left I decided against the morning nap although I was up really early. As you probably already know I prefer to sleep in my pram in the common or in the car. I got two hats and two body suits and a new cuddly toy - a blue and white striped rabbit from POP! Mamma has been so jealous of my skinny jeans so she finally decided to get a pair (thanks Sara for convincing mamma to get them!). After lunch we did some more window shopping then we headed home, perfect timing to have my afternoon nap in the car! I think mamma is really getting a hang of this. At home I cuddled with daddy whilst Sara packed her things and then mamma took her to the station. I will miss her lots but I hope she will visit very soon again. Maybe with uncle Christian, after all I think we have more wedding planning to do! I can’t wait for their wedding in Sweden in August - I will have so much fun!

This is what I wore today shopping:

Top: Polarn & Pyret (POP)

Skinny Jeans (next size up, my last pair was getting a bit too skinny!)

One of my new hats:

Here is the other new hat I got!

Me and my new cuddly toy from POP

Wang and Oscar de la renta

Yesterday I spent the afternoon at Harry's whilst mamma and Sara went off to wedding dress shopping. Unfortunately they didn't come back with any pics I can upload here but according to mamma Sara looked amazing in a Vera Wang and Oscar de la renta. If I can make enough money until the summer I will buy the dress for Sara but I don't think I am employable yet.

thank you auntie Vicky for looking after me yesterday!

Today I sent Sara off to the beauty salon for a facial and head massage - she needs a treat the bride to be! Whilst she was there, mamma, I and Yma went to the common with the dogs. This evening we are watching Hope for Haiti concert on tv and chilling at home - sweeeeet!

xoxo

PS. I have not been very good at sleeping today and refuse to go to sleep on my own, mamma needs to cuddle and rock me whilst I fall asleep. I am not sure if this is something I will stick to, I haven't decided yet. Will keep you posted.

PS II. I might try valling tonight I will let you know how I like it.

Sara is here!

Woke up yesterday morning and Sara was here! Sara is mammas sister and my god mummy! Sara being here means happy times! Whoohooo!

This is us last summer:
